Lionsgate takes Lalaloopsy privileges

Lionsgate has agreed with MGA Entertainment to get the house entertainment distribution privileges in line with the Lalaloopsy dolls brand. Lionsgate made the announcement Thursday. The small-major stated it'll function as the exclusive distributor of Lalaloopsy product for those packed media and digital platforms in a number of areas, such as the U.S., Canada and also the U.K. Announcement is made by Lionsgate professional Vice president of family entertainment Anne Parducci and MGA Entertainment Boss Isaac Larian. The dolls hit the industry this year. Lionsgate's initial home theatre feature release associated with the home -- "Adventures in Lalaloopsy Land: The quest for Pillow" -- will launch in March. "We've been very astounded by Lalaloopsy's exponential growth like a brand since their launch this year, developing past the initial toy line into several additional groups for example apparel, fashion add-ons, videogames and books," Parducci stated.
